Feb. 8, 2008: Zlomek news photos now marketed exclusively by Dreamstime

SANATOGA PA - Exclusive, breaking-news images from the cameras of a Sanatoga photographer are now being sold royalty-free to news operations worldwide by Dreamstime.com, an Internet supplier of high quality digital images.

Dreamstime this week (Feb. 7, 2008) began accepting and marketing photos taken by Joseph M. “Joe” Zlomek, of North Sanatoga Road. Zlomek is managing editor of Pottstown-based Career Education Media Ventures, and a freelance writer and photographer. The first three photos in his Dreamstime gallery are of Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, and Drexel University President Constantine Papadakis.

The photographs are being offered to news outlets and other users of stock photography under Dreamstime's new editorial license, as images "that are directly connected and pertinent to current events, news and political stories, social and cultural scenes."

Zlomek's Career Education Media Ventures provides written and multimedia news content to subscribing publishers. In the past year, his articles and photographs were published in the United States, Norway, the United Kingdom, Croatia, Brazil, Finland, Canada, France, India, Italy, New Zealand, Germany, Spain, Malaysia, Denmark and Australia.

The opening of Zlomek's gallery at Dreamtime represents the fourth in his career. His images also are offered in galleries at 123RF.com, StockXchng (sxc.com), MorgueFile.com, and Studio25.com. The images being sold at Dreamstime are exclusive, meaning they will not be marketed by any other agency. The photos' royalty-free designation means buyers pay only once for images and then can use them as many times as needed with only limited restrictions.

Zlomek was the 1981 International Award Winner for News Photography presented by the International Association of Firefighters. In addition, Zlomek has won several local and regional journalism awards. He has been an active member of the Society of Professional Journalists since 1988.
