About Joe Zlomek

Award-winning writer, editor, and photographer Joseph M. "Joe" Zlomek lives in and operates from Sanatoga PA. Zlomek has a life-long background in print and electronic journalism.

He currently serves as marketing director of Polley Associates, Pennsylvania's largest proprietary school for professionals in real estate and related careers. He is a real estate instructor licensed by the Pennsylvania State Real Estate Commission. He also holds the Real Estate CyberSpecialist (RECS) designation of the national Real Estate Cyberspace Society, and the Accredited Seller Representative (ASR) designation as an instructor from the national Seller Agency Council.

Since January 2003, Zlomek also has served as managing editor of Career Education Media Ventures (CEMV), which provides written and multimedia news content to subscribing publishers. Before establishing CEMV, he served as associate editor of Technology Times, the bi-monthly newspaper of the Philadelphia-based Eastern Technology Council.

Zlomek is a member of the Publications Committee of the national Real Estate Educators' Association (since June 2003), and serves as one of several reviewers of articles for REEA publications. He also is an affiliate member of the Suburban West REALTORS® Association of Pennsylvania, and an affiliate member of the Tri-State REALTORS Commercial Alliance.

Additionally, he is a past president of the Kiwanis Club of Pottstown PA, and past president of the Kiwanis Club of Oneida NY. 

Zlomek is a website creator and programmer with a reputation for design and content excellence. Several websites created by Zlomek (formerly doing business as The Pottstown Wordworks) on behalf of his clients have earned multiple awards for their ability to attract and hold the interest of Internet visitors.

Finally, Zlomek is an accomplished photographer and videographer whose images also have won international recognition. As of December 2007, Internet users at StockXchng had downloaded Zlomek's stock photos more than 65,400 times.
